A PICTURE SAYS MORE THAN 1000 WORDS – MORE AND MORE
WE OBSERVE THE TREND TOWARDS A VISUAL SOCIETY.
During this, we dealt with the question of whether the image is possibly replacing the text in communication. We reflected on this development and discussed how it affects caesura, the work of photojournalists and, downstream, the future visual communication of information. For this purpose, we invited Wolfram Kastl, photojournalist, and picture editor of dpa (Deutsche Presse-Agentur) to join us. He discussed with us a changing media and image reception and talked about future visual communication concepts.
