MR PORTER includes the BMW i3 as the first and only car in its online range. Dorten stages the BMW i3 in a contemporary and luxurious way. Dorten develops the creative concept for the BMW i3 shoot – implemented by Amos Fricke, who creates an extraordinary visual world – away from roads, landscapes and cityscapes.
Reduced to the essential: modern and classic at the same time.

Amos stages logos, leather, stitching, wood and a fine, shiny brushstroke, a homage to the pinstripe. With the utmost precision, he strikes a balance between razor-sharp clarity and artistic abstraction – the kind you only see in digital drawings. Oscillating between matt and gloss, between light reflection and shadow, between brilliant color and subtle shading.
